Kipling Cafe Chennai Review

Kipling cafe pictures
Kipling cafe located at the East Coast Road of Chennai welcomes you with the chilling sea breeze bringing goosebumps, making your hair feather touch your face, your beautiful gown to swing away. As the evening sun shying away, the snow black crawling around the clouds and shiny stars sparkling. I entered the cafe with loud noise spreading in the air with my bunch of people.
A great restaurant is one that just makes you feel like you’re not sure whether you went out or you came home and confuses you. If it can do both of those things. at the same time, you’re hooked -Danny Meyer

Kipling cafe
At first glance I saw three individual seating arrangements, Each had a unique ambiance. We choose to settle down where it had long seating benches eyeball to eyeball. As we were four we occupied ourselves comfortably. We captured our moments with the newly purchased Instax mini9.

Instax mini9
We chose for Thai cuisine. Being a seafood lover I never fail to taste them
Flyon Fish

Fish marinated in a homemade red curry paste, spicy red chili, and curry powder. Though the name suggested as homemade, it absolutely tasted unique. I could feel it was tangy. The fish was soft. I liked it. It cost around 400 bucks.

Prawn Lemon Grass

Skewer’s of prawn marinated with lemongrass, ginger, garlic, curry powder and red chilly. It was exquisite. The flavor lingered at my mouth for a long time. It too cost 400 bucks. Cocktails and mocktails are available too.

The two dishes I tried were distinct from the customary flavor I tasted prior but I wouldn’t recount it as extraordinary. My day ended after long chats with my bunch and tummy smiling with the Thai flavors
