Books can make me smile, laugh, cringe, cry, wonder. I live through all emotional states of mind. The love for the books, no I can put it this way the thirst for the books never ceases. Here is a list of favorite five books I fancy to date. Beyond books, each character taught me definite things in life.
Eat, Pray, Love

The Author Elizabeth Gilbert facing her divorce, getting into depression losing pounds one fine day she realizes to come out of this ball game and decides to take a year to travel to Italy, India, and Indonesia. During her visit to Italy, she tastes random Italian foods roaming round the streets hanging around with cappuccinos and gelatos gaining few pounds back. When I read this mouth-watering part of the book I was completely in love with Italy craving to taste thin-crust Margherita pizzas dressed with tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella piping hot out of the oven. Meat layered parmesan cheese oozing on the sides of Lasaga melting in your mouth and can never end your meal without tasting freezing soft Italian gelatos. Moving to India, she stays at an ashram and experiences spirituality. she gets to know about herself. Until reading that I never realized every person had a spiritual side. When I practiced it gave me inner peace. Finally traveling to Bali she relishes the pleasure over there. I knew much about Bali from her writing how does the county look, how are the people there? To be precise I was living in Bali. Through this book I saw a woman who I should be, I was inspired to travel, mesmerized by the journey of the Author. Every woman can put herself there into every situation and realize what she would have reacted there.
The Secret

Have you wondered when you were a kid we dream of silly things and you encounter it happening in your life without even you putting an effort for it rather than dreaming? Yes as a kid I love dreaming until today I do it more often and I have realized the former. The secret is all about attracting things you wanted in your life. It might be relationship, money, career anything. This book is all about the “Law of Attraction”. When you desire to build your dream house, you envision it. You imagine how the construction work is progressing, envision as you are visiting the half-constructed house, envision the money you save for it, envision the beautiful paint thrown on the walls of the house, envision you are living happily with your beautiful family in your dream house. This is how you attract the things you yearn for. Every day we pray to God asking for things we need its again law of attraction. You are attracting the things you want by asking for it. I every day close my eyes and envision things which I need, I strongly believe in what I need what so ever people say. At the end of the day its all about positive thinking. It changed my attitude towards life. It brought confidence inside me. This very much explained in “The Secret”. Strongly recommend you guys to buy and read it today. Rich Dad Poor Dad

Robert Kiyosaki describes how his two different Dad’s one is Rich and the other is poor seeded the thought of money into him. One of the best books which made me believe how smart money can play for you. Comparing his rich and the poor dad the insight I got from the book was learn to welcome money. Make the money work for you, invest it smartly in an asset which can double your money neither in liability which empties your pocket. Robert in this book says that buying a house is a liability. According to him buying a house is a liability which empties your pocket repaying your mortgage every month. You realize when you sell the house for a loss. It doesn’t turn to be an asset until you sell the house for a profit. Rich invest in an asset which can bring them money like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. Where poor invest in liabilities which take money out of your pocket like mortgages, credit card debts, clothing, etc. It enlightened me on financial aspects. If you wanted financial education this is the right book I suggest.
Agatha Christie’s

Here comes the author “Agatha christie” among her various nonfiction mystery novels I have read few. The first novel of hers I came across when the book was lying ideal in the room. She kept me at the edge of the seat while flipping around the pages. Her novels include a number of characters to make more suspicious. The beauty is that it was impossible for me to find the murderer, we will have no idea how the murder happened. She puts forth all the clues from the perspective of Poirot who always plays the detective in her stories but still, We will be aiming at the wrong coin. Each novel is written in its own way. When I read “And there were none” the ending was something extraordinary. When I read the second novel of hers “The Murder in the Orient Express” I was expecting it will be the same kind since it was the same author and the genre. Interestingly it was absolutely unidentical from the previous one that’s why I meant it was written in its own way. When you are really bored up you need to spice up a little or you are traveling she can keep you hooked up for sure. I myself influenced reading her books imagining being a detective and acting smart but later I realize I am the one who can’t even find the key where I kept last night š
One Indian Girl

When I had developed an interest in reading, the first book I read was “2 states” written by “Chetan Bhagat”. If you are a newbie to reading then you can kick start with Chetan Bhagats. It is an easy read the sentences are thrown out as simple as you converse in real-time whereas it holds your grip until touching the climax. One such is One Indian Girl. Radhika Metha narrates her story. About to get married and there crawls in all her past love tales. She explains right from the job she got and the places she traveled for it and involved in relationships and how complicated things where. I admired Radhika throughout the book. I get excited when the story revolves around a woman and more excited when she turns out to be ravishing from being a nerd. I was fascinated by the job she got in Goldman Sachs and how excellent she works for it and how her mom faints hearing her monthly income earning more than her father’s annual salary. Its all hilarious at the same time I was pushed to think how nice to work my ass and get a job like that. At the same time, she portrays not only the beautiful life of hers even the dirty side has revealed. Radhika stands out as a woman who depicts the life of every Indian girl and thoughts surmounting them.
Happy reading folks. These are my favorite books until today. Keep reading and get lost in the world of books.
