As the word goes marriages are made in heaven, the bride and the groom are certainly bustling over their important day, enjoying the beauty of each other, reminiscing the process which took them here today. Finally the wedding day. Don’t you think such special day need to be made extra special??? There are a few important factors need to be considered to make your wedding happening. Even the best day can be ruined if not planned accordingly. Let me share with you guys the factors which I took a little extra mile to make it perfect. Though not perfect at the least to escape the flaws.

Though the quote might sound the way but I contradict. I enjoyed every moment of it. Since my parents took hold of a major part of the planning. I didn’t have too many burdens. Let me walk you through the factors mattered me the most.

The ambiance of the wedding hall

I was keen to have a hall which has a pleasing appearance. People think its enough to have a hall never considering the ambiance of it. Eventually, you are gonna decorate it but make sure whether this hall can satisfy your expectations for decoration. How big the hall doesn’t matter, how small it may be but how pleasing it makes your guests matters. Once I attended my dad’s friends son’s marriage. For no reason, I couldn’t figure out but I just fell in love with that mandapam. It was welcoming, spacious, pleasing. After that whenever I cross that mandapam I always wanted my marriage to happen there and that happened.

Decoration

When you find a pleasing hall you are obligated to enhance it. Even the beautiful hall can be blown up with poor decoration. The decoration is one such a powerful thing. Before approaching any decorators, be sure how does your hall need to look like. Google for images yourself. Pinterest, Instagram can help you. Then look for decorates in your city, ask friends about their work, look into their works and then approach them. From there the decorators pick up. You can show them what is your theme, how does the outcome need to be. They will enhance their design. Get the outcome image of how does it look like. You can also go in style with the latest trends. My decorator suggested me to have a photo booth. I guess my cousins enjoyed it. You can also have a hashtag with bride and bridegroom name together and people can tag your marriage photos under the hashtag in social media. Finally, you have all your wedding pictures taken by different people under the same hashtag.

Parking Space

I know, how difficult to park your vehicle when the marriage hall is in the center of the city with heavy traffic. Look at whether mandapam has enough parking. There are halls which don’t have parking, make sure at least they provide you an alternate area for parking. Beware, people who are coming to your wedding should feel comfortable. Don’t make them droopy by making them fish for parking for more than half an hour.

Photography

Absolutely, I stare at my wedding pics every day wondering how beautifully the moment has been captured. Same as the decorators, check for photographers at your city, ask people about their work, look into their profile. Ask for sample images when you approach them. You can make it more adorable by adding your spice. Hunt for unique pictures of couples from social media, If you have a big group of cousins then you have beautiful wedding pics at Pinterest which will capture your heart. Those pictures are cherished for life.

Makeup Artist

Marriage can happen without a mandapam, without decoration, without photography but definitely a big no without makeup for the bride:) It’s your day the groom and the bride, you have to look special. Choose for the right makeup artist. The artist whom I choose was doing this bridal job for years, I have seen my cousins, friends upon whom she has done her makeup. Then I went through all the other artists work in my city. Finally, I was convinced with her work. Don’t compare artists who are doing makeup at a cheaper price than the other one. My advice on this is don’t ever compromise on your makeup on your special day. It might ruin your entire mood if the makeup doesn’t turn out as you wish. It’s better to get a trial makeup before your wedding. Pick your accessories according to your attire. I can speak about it all day. There is an entire post coming soon dedicated for this. watch out.
Food

I am saving this for the last. The most important factor in the wedding. No one can deny we all go with the interest to taste the food at the wedding. My mom always tells me, people who come for the wedding should have a filled stomach with a happy heart to bless the bride and the groom. Definitely, we would have tasted food in our cousins, friends wedding. If you find it delicious go ask for the catering contact with the respective person at the marriage. Unlike photography and decoration, you cannot decide on food, the only way is to taste it. When you approach the cook, you are granted to choose your own menu. Try to be unique if your food wants to speak. Don’t go with the usual menu at least try to change a few items. Instead of masala dosa go for cauliflower dosa, instead of vanilla ice cream go for cassata which every marriage doest have. Equally, you have the price going high too. Instead, you can replace regular items with an equal price of another unique dish.

Even all the above factors don’t happen as you planned, the marriage is gonna happen for sure. Enjoy it. Nothing is more important than that. Cherish all your flops at your wedding
